How Our Kids Art Classes in Orpington Work

We keep our batches small, with up to 10 children in each session, so every child receives personal attention and guidance.

Structured Learning Approach

We follow a structured pathway that covers the fundamentals of art, including line, shape, shading, and perspective. While we teach the core techniques, we always leave room for each child to infuse their work with their unique style and imagination.

Practising technique through quick sketches and exercises

Writing & Creative Expression

A unique part of our sessions includes 30 minutes of writing practice, where children work on:

Cursive handwriting improvement
Creative styles like shadow and bubble lettering
Introduction to basic calligraphy

We provide all the art materials required for every class, so your child can simply arrive, create, and enjoy the experience.

Each student receives:

A Saga Artverse customised drawing book
A Saga Artverse writing and activity book
High quality colours, paints, brushes, and other essential art supplies
seasonal craft supplies like Canvas, card-making materials for special projects
Any additional materials required for themed workshops and creative activities throughout the year

Everything needed to learn, explore, and create is included in the course fee.

Progress, Certification & Exhibition

We believe it’s important for children to feel proud of their journey.

Children will receive certificates as they progress through levels, recognising their learning and development
We also organise a yearly exhibition, where children can showcase their artwork
